Answer

All the channels in the high-speed output module are set to the general purpose output mode (normal digital output) by default.
To use the module in the pulse output mode, specify 'Pulse use' in the parameter setting of the system definition.
(The pulse output mode is set in pairs of 'CH0 and CH1' and 'CH2 and CH3.')
* One CH cannot be used for both pulse output and general purpose output simultaneously.

[Setting procedure of system definition]
In the system definition, open the CPU parameter, and then the I/O group setting. On the I/O group setting tab window, click the 'Detail' button and set 'Pulse use.'
In addition, make pulse settings on an application program.

[Setting procedure of program]
1) Set the set value of the frequency in the offset word addresses +8 to +11.
2) Turn ON the offset word address +6/+7 'Mode setting.'
(Set 'Direction of rotation setting' and 'Pulse output type setting' as needed.)
3) Confirm that the offset word address +0/+1 'Mode status' turns ON.
4) Turn ON the offset word address +6/+7 'Startup bit.'
