1) Double-click the 'Device' icon in the project view to open the device window.

2) Click the [Device Type] selection button (▼) and select a device for which you want to enter a tag.

3) Enter a tag name in the [Tag] field. Tag names entered on this window are reflected in the ladder circuit.

    * Following these steps, you can edit the tags of global devices.

     For timers and counters, the addresses 2/C8192/TR8192 or greater can be edited.

     The other addresses are local devices. [Entering the tags of local devices in a batch]

     The following timer and counter addresses are called 'local devices' which are only valid in each POU: T0 to T8191,

     C0 to C8191, and TR0 to TR8191.

     To enter the tags of local devices in a batch, right-click a POU and select [Device]. The local device list appears.

     Then, follow the same steps as for global devices.
