I have a communication problem between the V10/V9 and Mitsubishi Q series CPU via Ethernet unit.
[System Setting] → [Hardware Setting]

For the V10/V9's built-in LAN port, select [LAN].
(For the V10/V9 with an extra LAN port, [LAN2] option is also available.)
For connection with the V9's optional Ethernet unit (CUR-03), select [LAN unit].
Set [Network Parameter] of Mitsubishi's programming tool.

Port No. setting
For an Ethernet unit, there are two different ways to set port numbers. With the [Automatic open UDP port] setting, communication is performed without discriminating between connecting units. With the [Open setting] setting, communication is performed only with units for which a connection has been established.

| Protocol | UDP |
| Fixed buffer | Send or Receive |
| Fixed buffer communication procedure | Procedure exist (MC protocol) |
| Host station Port No. | PLC port number (Set the same port number as the orange frame in the figure of [Hardware Settings] in the "Screen program settings" section.) |
| Transmission target device IP address | IP address of V10/V9 series unit |
| Transmission target device Port No. | Port number of V10/V9 series unit (Set the same port number as the blue frame in the figure of [Hardware Settings] in the "Screen program settings" section.) |
When specified in the screen program
Select the [Set IP] checkbox located at [System Setting] → [Ethernet Communication] → [Local Port Address] → [LAN] tab and set the IP address.
Leave the port number with the default value of "10000".
(This port number is used for reading and writing (EREAD/EWRITE) between MONITOUCH units and is unrelated to PLC communication.)

When specified on the V10/V9 series unit
Set the IP address on the [LAN Setting] menu in Local mode on the V10/V9 series unit and press the [Apply] switch at the lower right of the screen to confirm.
Leave the service port with the default value of "10000".
(This port number is used for reading and writing (EREAD/EWRITE) between MONITOUCH units and is unrelated to PLC communication.)
