It is a local/remote data server (OPC server) compatible with Data Access (DA2.0) proposed by OPC (OLE for Process Control) extending OLE/COM for process control applications. It allows access to SX global variables from a PC application without requiring the user to write a complicated data read/write procedure (data linkage).
