I have configured a multi-CPU system, but the system has run out of memory for the multi-CPU. Can I access the common general memory from the other CPU by using the direct read/write FB?

I have configured a multi-CPU system, but the system has run out of memory for the multi-CPU. Can I access the common general memory from the other CPU by using the direct read/write FB?

Answer

You cannot access general memory other than the memory for the multi-CPU from the other CPU. Access using the direct read/write FB is used for the access to the memory for the multi-CPU between CPU modules that are not connected with the same processor bus.
