There are two types of AC input modules, for 100V (NP1X1610, NP1X1610-RI) and 200V (NP1X1611, NP1X1611-RI). What is the difference between the product type with 'RI' and without 'RI'?

Answer

The product type without 'RI' judges ON/OFF of the inputs by current.
On the other hand, the product type with 'RI' judges ON/OFF of the inputs by voltage.
The product type with 'RI' is more resistant to waveform distortion.
Product type without 'RI': AC waveform distortion factor 5% or less
Product type with 'RI': AC waveform distortion factor 10% or less
MICREX-F series AC input modules judge ON/OFF of the inputs by voltage. Therefore, when replacing the MICREX-F series with the MICREX-SX series, select the product type with 'RI.'
